Phonic Frogs

A fun multi-sensory activity class which uses the Letters and Sounds programme, supported by the use of the Jolly Phonics stories and kinaesthetic actions (as used in many leading primary schools). The sessions will develop the children’s awareness of different sounds, rhythm, rhyme, alliteration and oral blending and segmenting skills. A letter will be introduced each week and the sound, action and name will be practised through a variety of interactive activities. Previously taught sounds will be revised and consolidated throughout the term. The children will learn how to hold a pencil correctly and practise writing their names (using the correct letter formations) on their art work.
